"They gave us an opportunity to be innovative and try new things."

Empty nester homes are investments in stored memories. That is why it is so hard to make the decision to leave them. At CRC Partners, we are originating new ideas to provide exciting places to live for transitioning lifestyles. To think about this, we tapped into focus groups of empty nesters and an unexpected source: young minds. Through research and development studies with the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Maryland, we are harnessing students’ fresh perspectives to spatially, technologically, and creatively rethink how to put fresh ideas in to the new needs and wants of this ever-growing population. The results are starting to show at new projects like Ocean Beach in San Diego and 9th Road Residences in Arlington, Virginia.
